8月8日，上海SNEC展会上，中来股份宣布与比利时微电子研发中心(IMEC)的合作将进一步升级，未来双方将继续加强在N型双面光伏技术领域的合作。IMEC是世界领先的纳米电子和数字技术领域研发和创新中心，双方自2016年达成合作协议以来，一直保持着紧密合作，共同实现了N型双面电池效率的多次突破。
谈及与中来的合作，IMEC的光伏业务负责人Eszter Voroshazi表示：“中来和IMEC建立了长期可靠的合作伙伴关系，双方对光伏技术有着共同的追求。非常荣幸能跟中来签署新的合作协议，双方将继续专注于N型双面光伏领域的密切合作，推出更多更高性能的光伏产品。”
目前，中来已经量产的N型双面电池正面转换效率高达24%，达到了目前行业内可量产工艺的顶尖水平，远远超出了大家的预期，这是双方长期紧密合作的成果。有了之前的良好合作为基础，双方决定进一步加大合作力度，扩大合作范围，在持续优化N型双面电池的工艺、效率、及可实现的装备的同时，还将增加不同封装技术、不同封装材料对组件可靠性及发电量的研究。
近几年，作为全球领先的N型TOPCon双面技术制造商，中来一直专注于包括N型TOPCon、N型IBC、TBC等在内的N型技术的研发。中来光电副总经理刘志锋表示：“我们的N型电池的平均量产转换效率可高达24%，要比传统的P型电池高效很多。而且N型组件不存在LID问题，年度衰减低于0.4%，这意味着N型组件30年后的功率仍可保持87.4%以上。我们今年会继续加大研发投入，进一步优化N型双面组件的转换效率，N型TOPCon技术将成为未来几年内光伏市场的主流技术。”
